Parking Fine Scam Emails

Legitimate Parking Charge Notices (PCN's) are not sent by email and anyone who has received one should delete it at once and report it to the National Fraud and Cyber Crime Reporting Service. So says trade body the British Parking Association (BPA).

The BPA says that it's aware of the fake email ticket scam, purporting to be from some of its approved contractors. The fake email tickets contain links to photos, payment options and to appeal. These links may contain malware and should not be clicked on, the association says.
